In accordance with a decree from the president, three officers were awarded the title of General within the Ministry of National Security(MNS.)
The three new Generals are Elchin Aliyev, Deputy Minister; Parviz Safarov, Investigation Department head, and Mazahir Yagubov, head of the Medical Department.
Several of employees of the Ministry were awarded medals. Awards are dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the security agencies of Azerbaijan. -05D-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
