Tokayev and Aliyev held talks in a narrow format
Baku/10.04.23/Turan: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held talks in a narrow format, the press service of "Akorda" reports.
Tokayev thanked Aliyev for accepting the invitation and visiting Astana, KazTAG reports.
"I paid a visit to Baku in August, it was absolutely productive and gave a serious impetus to the development of bilateral relations. Now there is a need to check the hours, check the work that is being carried out by the governments of the two countries in fulfillment of the instructions of the presidents. I would like to note that Azerbaijan is a fraternal, very close state for Kazakhstan. On our part, everything possible is being done to develop comprehensive cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres and, of course, for interaction in the political arena, whether it is a bilateral format or international organizations. We have been preparing for your visit. We are focused on very serious work on the development of economic cooperation and cooperation with Azerbaijan, which plays a leading role in the Transcaucasian region. There are no problems between us. There is only a desire to go forward in this direction," Tokayev said.-0--
