Treatment of 4 injured in plane crash near Aktau ongoing
Four Azerbaijani citizens (a man and three women), injured in a plane crash near Aktau on 25 December, continue hospital treatment.
According to the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Association of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), the condition of one of them remains stably serious. Other 3 persons under in-patient treatment are in satisfactory condition. Three of the four have undergone surgical operations.
Recall that 38 people died in a crash of passenger plane 'Embraer 190' of AZAL Airlines flying from Baku to Grozny, while 29 survived. 17 of the survivors were citizens of Azerbaijan. They were hospitalised in ‘Yeni klinika’ in Baku.
They were diagnosed with injuries to various parts of the body (fractures, bruises, craniocerebral trauma, chest trauma). 13 out of 17 victims were discharged from the hospital for outpatient treatment, the report says.
