Trump congratulated Azerbaijan on the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People�s Republic
Baku/24.05.18/Turan: President of the United States, Donald Trump, sent congratulations to Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the Republic Day and the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijani People's Republic.
The mesage reads that Azerbaijan and the United States maintain a close partnership, making joint efforts to overcome complex regional challenges. "I appreciate our cooperation in the field of security and the fight against terrorism, as well as long-term trade ties," Trump writes.
For years, cooperation in energy security has risen to such a peak as ensuring the necessary energy security of Europe through the Southern Gas Corridor.
The coming months will open up opportunities for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which will help create better conditions for the expansion of US-Azerbaijan cooperation. The US, being the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, sincerely desires cooperation with you to achieve a sustainable settlement of this conflict by peaceful means. Adalyat Verdiyev, the head of the civil defense staff at the public legal entity Center for Public Health and Reform under the Ministry of Health, and a military expert, has been arrested. On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops.
