Baku/04.05.23/Turan: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu explained the reason for closure of the country's airspace for planes of Armenian airlines flying to third countries.

"We will let planes into our country if necessary, but we will not allow the passage of airliners and private jets through our space while provocations continue. If they don't stop them, then we will take other measures," Cavusoglu said on NTV.

Two days earlier, Turkey banned the use of its airspace for two FLYONE ARMENIA flights - on April 30 and May 2 (between Paris and Yerevan) without prior notification and explanation of the reasons. The plane of the Paris flight was forced to land in Chisinau.

This happened after a monument to the participants of the terrorist operation "Nemesis" was opened in Yerevan, during which Armenian terrorists killed Turkish and Azerbaijani statesmen and diplomats in the early 20 century and up to the 80s.

Terrorists participating in the operation in Armenia are called "knights of national dignity".

*During Operation "Nemesis", former Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan - Fathali Khan Khoysky and Nasibbek Yusifbekov, former Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Hasan bek Agayev, former Interior Minister of Azerbaijan Behbud Khan Javanshir were killed.

"ASALA" and other Armenian terrorist organizations also committed dozens of terrorist acts in 22 countries in the 1970s and 1980s, killing 24 Turkish diplomats and citizens of other countries. -0-
