Turkey to Assist in Restoration of Cultural Heritage in Karabakh
Baku/02.03.21/Turan: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Kerimov in Ankara.
As reported by Anadolu Agency, Çavuşoğlu expressed the readiness of official Ankara to provide support in the restoration of the objects of cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh damaged during the years of the Armenian occupation.
“We are with Azerbaijan in its fair struggle on all international platforms, including UNESCO,” Çavuşoğlu wrote on his Twitter account. -02D-

Arrested economist Fazil Gasimov has reportedly faced pressure after protesting the interruption of a phone call with his family on November 16. "The phone call was cut off, and Fazil demanded that the connection be restored. Then, Jalal Alizadeh, a detention center officer, along with his colleagues, forcibly removed Fazil from the phone room in the medical unit of the facility, tearing his jacket and dragging him across the floor before throwing him into a cell.
