Turkish and US Presidents to discuss Karabakh issue
Baku/12.10.21/Turan: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, among others, will discuss the Karabakh issue with his American counterpart,Joe Biden. This was stated in an interview with the Turkish newspaper Milliyet by the press secretary of the Turkish President Ibrahim Kalyn.
The meeting of the leaders of the two countries will take place within the framework of the G20 summit on October 30-31 in Rome.
"We maintain extensive ties with the United States. The Presidents will discuss bilateral political and economic relations, energy, security; struggle against terrorism, trade, defense industry, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Karabakh, the Caucasus, Libya, the Eastern Mediterranean and other regional and global issues. We want the two strategic partners and allies to discuss these issues on a positive agenda. Issues on which we have no agreement should be resolved through negotiations and dialogue," he said.-16D06-
