Turkish Fighters in Azerbaijan, Armenia Brings Troops on Alert
Baku / 31.07.20 / Turan: On Friday, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced the arrival of Turkish Air Force F-16 fighters in Azerbaijan to participate in the joint exercises TurAz Qartalı-2020.
These large-scale tactical and tactical flight exercises with live fire involving the ground forces of both countries are conducted in Baku and Nakhchivan, and those with the participation of the Air Force - in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Kurdamir and Yevlakh from July 29 to August 10.
Against this background, the command of the Armed Forces of Armenia announced about bringing the Armenian army into combat readiness today. -02D-

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published a set of proposals on his Facebook page aimed at establishing long-term peace in the region. Among them, he suggested that Azerbaijan should abandon mutual claims against Armenia, including in international courts. Other proposals include: refraining from using belligerent rhetoric, continuing the demarcation of borders, signing a peace agreement that is 90% ready, mutually implementing arms control, creating a joint mechanism to investigate violations of the ceasefire regime, and dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group.
