Turkish Prosecutor General thanks Azerbaijan for the fight against supporters of Gulen
Baku/15.02.21/Turan: On February 15, the Prosecutors General of Azerbaijan and Turkey Kamran Aliyev and Bekir Shahin had a meeting in Ankara.
Prosecutors discussed issues of combating terrorism. “Islam and terrorism are incompatible. Turkey is fighting not only the terrorists DEASH, Al-Qaeda, PKK, but also the terrorist organization of Fetullah Gulen's Parallel State (FETÖ),” Sahin said. He recalled that Gulen's accomplices created cells in many countries, including Azerbaijan, and infiltrated the education sector and the media.
“Fraternal Azerbaijan has demonstrated the necessary scrupulousness on this issue by closing many schools, media outlets and enterprises of Gulen's terrorists. We are grateful to brotherly Azerbaijan for sensitivity and support,” Anadolu news agency quoted Shahin. -02В-

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan rejected Ilham Aliyev's demands for Yerevan to stop acquiring weapons. "Armenia has acquired and will continue to acquire weapons solely for the purpose of self-defense. Over 200 square kilometers of our sovereign territory is under the control of Azerbaijan. And even to regain these territories, we do not intend to consider military action, but rather a process of demarcation. So, we are buying weapons and have no intention of sending them back," he stated.
