A number of trade unions in Turkey, "Social workers", "Engineers and Architects", "Doctors of Turkey" and others decided to hold a strike in protest against disperse a rally in support of Gezi Park. The trade unions include hundreds of thousands members.
The authors of the decision believe that the government of Erdogan made a police "terror" against the citizenship position of population. They remind that l that during the dispersal of the rally people died, and thousands of people were injured. Media is under pressure from the authorities, there is a campaign of blackening the opposition, but it will be impossible to break the resistance of the people, union leaders believe.
