UN International Court of Justice scheduled hearings in the framework of litigation between Armenia and Azerbaijan for October 14-19
Baku/01.10.21/Turan: Armenia's claim against Azerbaijan on violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination will be considered at the International Court of Justice in te Hague on October 14-15.
On October 18-19, the court will consider a similar claim of Azerbaijan against Armenia, the press service of the Hague court said.
Hearings on October 14-15 will be devoted to the demand of Armenia on the application of preliminary measures, and on October 18-19 a similar demand of Azerbaijan will be considered.
In connection with the pandemic, the meetings will be held in a hybrid format. Some judges will be present at the hearing, while others will be video-linked. Representatives of the parties can also participate in the hearings in person or by video link, the court said.
It should be reminded that Armenia is trying to accuse Azerbaijan of discrimination against Armenians before, during and after the Second Karabakh War.
Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of violations of the rights of Azerbaijanis, ethnic cleansing and murder of civilians, destruction of cultural heritage. -02В-
