Baku / 15.09.22 / Turan: At a meeting on Wednesday, members of the UN Security Council spoke in favor of an early ceasefire between Baku and Yerevan, a statement is being prepared by the Security Council. This was reported to RIA-Novosti by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.
"Everyone unanimously spoke in favor of an early ceasefire and settlement of the situation by political and diplomatic means," Nebenzya said.
According to him, Moscow insists that the statement must necessarily contain a reference to the tripartite statements of the liders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan from 2020 and 2021, which are the basis for the normalization of relations between the two countries, contain ceasefire commitments and a number of projects that the parties should take. -0-
