USA Embassy on recent situation around Karabakh conflict
Baku/16.08.19/Turan: In response to the question of Azeri service of The Voice of America, a representative of the USA Embassy to Azerbaijan said:
" The United States remains strongly committed, as an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country, to helping the sides achieve a just and peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Minsk Group Co-Chairs have repeatedly called on the sides to take measures to reduce tensions and support an environment conducive to constructive negotiations.
I would refer you to the Minsk Group Co-Chairs' many statements referencing this issue, noting in particular the press statement of March 9, 2019". -0-
