Uzbekistan wants to conduct joint military exercises with Azerbaijan
Baku/17.02.21/Turan: On February 17, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov received the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Baku Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the military sphere were discussed. The diplomat congratulated Azerbaijan on the victory in the Patriotic War, noting that Uzbekistan recognizes and has always recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
“Noting the interest of Uzbekistan in holding joint military exercises and trainings with Azerbaijan, the ambassador stressed the importance of exchanging experience in the military educational institutions of Azerbaijan with the participation of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan,” the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said. -02D-
