Veterans of World War II will receive lump-sum benefits
Baku/19.04.22/Turan: On Tuesday, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to provide one-time financial assistance to participants in World War II of 1941-1945, as well as to the widows of the dead, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear.
According to the order, participants in the war will receive a one-time assistance of 1,500 manats (about $880).
Assistance in the amount of 750 manats (about $441) will be received by the widows of those who died in the Great Patriotic War and after the war, as well as those awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear, as well as those who were blockaded in Leningrad.
3.5 million manat (about $2 million) will be allocated from the President's Reserve Fund to provide one-time material assistance.
According to the Ministry of Labor of the country, 96 people will receive one-time material assistance of 1,500 manats, and 4,395 people will receive 750 manats.—06B-
