Baku / 01.02.18 / Turan: From May 15 it will be easier for foreign citizens and stateless persons to obtain a visa in Azerbaijan. This is stated in the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on the improvement of the procedure for obtaining a visa at the international airport.
The document states that foreigners and stateless persons will be issued an electronic visa via the ASAN Visa system at the international airport of Azerbaijan.
Until May 15, the State Agency for Citizens' Services and Social Innovations under the President must ensure the issuance of visas at the international airports through the ASAN Visa system, and also ensure payment for visas through the ASAN Pay system.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should provide a phased transfer to the agency of its offices located at the airport. In addition, the Foreign Ministry should provide the State Agency a list of countries for which it is provided for the issuance of visas at airports. -0-
