Visit of NATO Secretary General to Georgia
On 26-27 August there will be an official visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to Georgia. This will be his first visit to Georgia in the rank of Secretary General of NATO.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, during the visit the NATO Secretary General will meet the President, Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament, Foreign Minister and other representatives of the executive power of Georgia.
Stoltenberg will also hold a meeting with a company of Georgian troops, which will be getting ready for the NATO Response Force.
On August 27 in the territory of the Krtsanisi training center a joint center will be opened for learning and assessment of NATO - Georgia.
As part of the official meetings, there will be considered the full range of issues related to Georgia's accession to NATO and the planned steps in this direction, the course of implementation of the receipt of the goods at the Wales summit of the Significant Plan and the process of preparation for the Warsaw Summit. -02D-
