Baku/23.03.22/Turan: On March 21, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov visited Pakistan. According to the press service of the military department, Hasanov had meetings with the chiefs of the General Staff of the Pakistan Armed Forces Nadeem Raz, with the commander of the Land Forces Gamar Javed Bachya and the country's Prime Minister Imran Khan.
During the talks, the parties discussed the issues of strengthening and expanding military, military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as issues of military education, and the fight against terrorism. On January 24, the Baku Court of Appeals considered an appeal regarding the arrest of journalist Farid Ismailov.
