American and French co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Jacques Faure and James Warlick, arrived in Baku. It is expected that on February 3 the Russian co-chair, Igor Popov, will join them, and mediators will meet with the President and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and Elmar Mammadyarov.
On completion of the meetings in Baku the co-chairmen will leave for Armenia. --16D06-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
