Visit of Turkish Coast Guard Force Commander
Baku / 09.04.19 / Turan: The Commander of the Coast Guard of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Rear Admiral Ahmet Kendir, is visiting Baku.
The day before, he was received by the head of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev, the State Border Service said.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, ensuring border security, combating the manifestations of cross-border crime and steps in this direction of the coast guard, interaction and exchange of experience between the relevant structures of the two countries were discussed.
The guest was acquainted with the organization of work of the Coast Guard of the Azerbaijani border troops, equipping them with an advanced system and technical facilities.
An agreement was reached to continue measures for practical cooperation between the coast guard forces of the two countries. Following the meeting, a working protocol was signed. -06D-
