Baku/08.06.23/Turan: Work on clarifying the date of the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia continues and Baku hopes that it will take place in the near future, stated the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Ayhan Hajizade, commenting on the Armenian side's message at the request of Turan that the meeting of the foreign ministers was postponed "at the request of the Azerbaijani side."
"Work on clarifying the date of the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia continues, and we hope that it will take place in the near future.
As a rule, according to established practice, the date of the meeting is announced by the party organizing the negotiations," Hajizade said.
Earlier, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting of the foreign ministers was scheduled for June 12 and was "postponed at the request of the Armenian side."—06D-

Ramil Eynaliev, an activist from the Lankaran branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PPFA), has been administratively arrested for 30 days on charges of "disobeying the police."
