Website Suing Ministry of Communications
Baku / 09.27.19 / Turan: A preparatory hearing was held today in the Baku Administrative-Economic Court No. 1, chaired by Elchin Mammadov, on the suit of the arqument.az website against the Ministry of Communications.
The editors consider the website blocking by the Ministry of Communications on April 8-10 this year unlawful.
According to the website editor Shamshad Agha, the website was blocked after publishing an article and video material about a mass protest of local residents in the Jalilabad region.
"The website was blocked and they demanded that we remove the materials. We refused. Two days later, they unblocked the website," the editor said.
