Yerevan accuses Baku of trying to derail Brussels meeting
Baku/11.05.23/Turan: Azerbaijan is trying to derail agreements reached in Washington, to thwart the upcoming meeting in Brussels on 14 May, and finally disrupt efforts of the international community to resolve hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was said in a statement issued today by the Armenian Foreign Ministry in response to the fighting on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan near the Zod mine.
In turn, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at Thursday's government session that "by exacerbating the situation Azerbaijan is trying to consign to oblivion the establishment of the border point in Lachin. He nevertheless stressed that he had no intention of abandoning his meeting with Ilham Aliyev in Brussels on 14 May. -0-

The health condition of activist Nijat Ibrahim has sharply worsened while he remains in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan news agency. According to her, Ibrahim called today to report severe back pain, and he can barely move. Recently, his blood pressure has also risen, and doctors have diagnosed him with hypertension.

On Sunday, November 5, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States. Upon his arrival at Manas 2 International Airport in Bishkek, Aliyev was greeted with a ceremonial honor guard and welcomed by Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister and Chief of Staff, Akylbek Japarov, along with other officials.
