Yerevan again offers a tit-for-tat withdrawal of troops
Yerevan /22.07.21 / Turan: Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has again made a proposal for a "tit-for-tat withdrawal of troops" together with deployment of Russian border guards to thus start the border demarcation proces, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers sstated at a government meeting on Thursday.
""We once again offer to start a tit-for-tat withdrawal of troops from borders on the Sotk - Khoznavar section (Gegharkunik and Syunik regions of Armenia) following which Russian border guards or international observers will be deployed along the border. That will make it possible to start the demarcation and delimitation process on the border," Pashinyan noted.
He added that the Azerbaijan's destructive policy impedes the establishment of tranquility in the region and the implementation of agreements to open communications.
