Yerevan blames Moscow for Karabakh situation
Baku/27.04.23/Turan: Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan in an interview with Public TV of Armenia has actually called on Moscow to use force against Azerbaijan in Karabakh.
"According to the statement of November 9, under which Azerbaijan has also signed, the Lachin corridor has been fully handed over to the Russian Federation, and at the moment it is the Russian Federation that is fully responsible for the events taking place in the Lachin corridor," he said.
Russia must act to ensure that 120,000 Armenians are not ethnically cleansed. "If the problem is not solved through negotiations, Russia must act differently," he said.
As for the content of negotiations with Azerbaijan on a peace agreement, he touched on Baku's demands for the return of eight border villages. According to Grigoryan, Armenia also has a demand for the return of territories "occupied" by Azerbaijan.
"There are such occupied territories in Tavush. Armenia demands that Azerbaijan return these territories. Similar territories exist in Jermuk, Sotq-Khoznavar, and along the entire Armenian border," Grigoryan said.
According to him, first of all, Azerbaijan should return those territories, and then it should start discussing the international mechanism of security guarantees for Nagorno Karabakh within the framework of its international obligations. -02Dp-

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
