Yerevan responds to Baku on draft peace treaty - head of Armenian Security Council
Baku/09.01.24/Turan: On 4 January, Armenia responded to Azerbaijan's proposals on the draft peace treaty. Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan stated this in an interview with Armenia's Public TV.
"We responded to their proposals within two weeks. Now we are waiting for Azerbaijan's response," Grigoryan said. There are some issues on which no progress was achieved at the talks. We expect that we will soon be able to make progress on these issues as well and that the remaining issues will be resolved during the negotiations and a peace agreement will be signed," Grigoryan said.
The Secretary did not disclose the content of the proposals and the draft peace agreement. At the same time, Grigoryan pointed out that a session of the bilateral commission on border delimitation will be held at the end of January, during which a number of disputed issues may be resolved. -0-
