Baku/08.05.23/Turan: On May 6, in the evening, ten Nepalese citizens were detained on the western border of Azerbaijan while attempting to illegally cross into Georgia.
Tis is reported by the State Border Service on May 8.
The report says that two Azerbaijani citizens, Nadirli Khalid and Aghayev Tural, who helped Nepalese in illegally crossing the border, were also detained and brought to justice. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
