1013 infected with COVID-19 per day
Baku/07.10.21/Turan: Over the past day, 1,013 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 1,244 patients recovered, 14 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 7.
To date, 489,226 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 469,665 people have recovered, 6,625 have died, treatment of 12,936 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 10 853 tests have been carried out in the country.
Also, over the past day, 42,746 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 13 173, the second - 29 573 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 8 884 266. Within the first stage of vaccination 4 850 515 people were vaccinated, the second stage - 4 033 751 people. — 06D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
