11.5 kg of drugs seized in Lankaran
Baku/15.08.23/Turan: On August 12, the coast guard of the State Border Service stopped another attempt to smuggle drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan via the Caspian Sea.
A message of the State Border Service says that on August 15, a border vessel conducted a check of the coastal zone in the southern direction.
During the operational activities in the village of Narimanabad, Lankaran region, Eduard Aliyev, a resident of Sumgayit (born in 1993), and Alizade Nuraddin, a resident of Godman village, Masally region (born in 1992), were detained.
Drugs with a total weight of 11.5 kg (marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine and methadone M40) were seized from them. In fact, operational and investigative measures are ongoing. -02D-
