1,315 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/09.12.21/Turan: Over the past day, 1,315 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 1,850 patients have recovered, 19 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on December 9.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic was 601,028, including 571,088 recovered, 8,038 died, 21,902 active patients are being treated.
Over the past day, in connection with the identification of new cases of infection, 11,799 tests were carried out. Also, over the past day, 34,060 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3 733, the second - 4 358 people. The booster dose was received by 25,969 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 10,806,373, of which 5,110,938 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,605,616 received two doses, and 1,089,819 people received a booster dose.—06D-
