Baku/15.09.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,064 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 3,831 patients have recovered, 28 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 15.
To date, 465,390 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 420,025 people have recovered, 6,195 have died, treatment of 39,170 active patients continues.
Over the past 24 hours, 14,972 tests have been carried out in the country.
Also, 65,424 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 per day.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 21 363, with the second - 44 061 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan was 7,745,851. Within the first stage of vaccination, 4,551,501 people were vaccinated, the second stage - 3,194,350. — 06B-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
