2,256 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/03.11.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 2,256 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 2,208 patients have recovered, 21 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on November 3.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 537,004 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, of which 499,571 people have recovered, 7,153 have died, treatment of 30,280 active patients continues.
Over the past day, in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection, 13,102 tests were carried out. Also, over the past day, 45,561 vaccines against COVID-19 have been injected.
At the same time, 6,263 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 10,418 with the second. The total number of vaccinations was 9,753,825, of which 4,973,724 received the first dose and 4,397,065 received two doses.
For the first time, the statistics of vaccinations with a booster dose (third dose) has also been published. Over the last day, 28,880 booster doses were administered. The total number of booster vaccinations was 383,036.-06D-
