2,447 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/07.09.21/Turan: 2,447 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered over the last 24 hours in Azerbaijan. Note that 3,428 patients were cured, 41 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 7.
It should be added that from the beginning of the pandemic, 447,725 cases of infection have been detected in the country, including 389,977 people recovered, 5,920 died, and the treatment of 51,828 active patients being underway.
Over the last day, 15,530 tests were conducted in the country.
In the reviewed period 70,768 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus (COVID-19) in Azerbaijan.
Also, those having received the first dose of the vaccine numbered in 31,927, the second dose in 38,841 people.
It is important to stress that the total number of vaccine doses used in the country was 7,307,149, including 4,391,664 vaccinated with the first dose, 2,915,485 people were vaccinated with two doses— - 06B-
