Baku/30.08.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 3107 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected, while 1170 people recovered, and 39 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 30.
The total number of infected reached 421 103, including 362 898 recovered, 5 592 died, treatment of 52 613 active patients continues. Over the past day, 11,191 tests for coronavirus were carried out.
Also, over the past day, 1225 people have been vaccinated. At the same time, 768 were vaccinated with the first dose, and 457 with the second. The total number of used vaccines was 6,689,031.

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
