3,305 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/04.09.21/Turan: Over the past day, 3,305 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 3,423 patients have recovered, 40 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 4.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 439,562 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 380,710 people recovered, 5,800 have died.
The number of active patients is 53,052.
Over the past day, 18,172 tests have been carried out.
Also, over the last day from COVID-19, 78 604 people were vaccinated.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 41,604, with the second - 37,000.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan today is 7,174,292, of which 4,329,571 were vaccinated with the first dose, 2,844,726 people were vaccinated with the second.

In a bid to modernize and regulate the taxi industry in Baku, mobile patrols of the state traffic police have launched a series of raids aimed at ensuring that taxi drivers comply with newly established requirements.
