Baku/10.07.21/Turan: 34 people, including 11 children, were poisoned at the wedding reception in Ranjbar village of Agjabadi region on July 9.
They were diagnosed with food intoxication at the Agjabadi сentral regional hospital, the Territorial Medical Units Management Association (TMU) said.
Thirty-three patients were sent for outpatient treatment after being treated. The condition of another patient is moderate and he remains in hospital.
The fact is being investigated by the Food Safety Agency.
According to preliminary data, the poisoning was caused by the consumption of food prepared under domestic conditions, the agency said.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has not been invited to observe the parliamentary elections scheduled in Azerbaijan for September 1. A new group of migrants from the Garadagh district of Baku has arrived in the city of Shusha, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons reported. Seventy-nine Shusha residents, comprising 21 families, have returned to their hometown.

Bahram Nuriyev, chairman of the Gabala branch of the public association "Young Gazis" (Young volunteers) and a participant in the Second Karabakh War, attempted suicide on Sunday, according to a statement from the association.
