Baku/02.09.21/Turan: Over the past day, 3,759 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 3,473 patients have recovered, 45 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 2.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Azerbaijan, 432,495 people have been infected with coronavirus infection. Of these, 373,475 people were cured, 5,722 people died. The number of active patients today is 53,298 people.
Over the past day, 17,678 tests have been carried out in the country.
Also, 98,494 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 per day.
During the day, the number of those vaccinated with the first dose was 60 167, the second - 38 327.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan today is 7 009 933, including 4 239 851 people vaccinated with the first dose, 2 770 082 people were vaccinated with two.-0-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
