648 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/22.12.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 648 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified, 1,365 people have recovered, 16 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on December 22.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 612 205 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, 590 155 people have recovered, 8 238 have died, the number of active patients is 13 812.
Over the past day, 9,891 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in the country.
Also, over the past day, 28 142 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3,083, the second - 3,634, booster - 21,425 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,125,458, of which 5,147,759 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,649,537 received two doses, and 1,328,162 people received a booster dose.--0-
