A memorial plate with names of dead climbers was found
Baku/24.07.21/Turan: On July 24, a memorial plate with names of three climbers who died three years ago at the site was discovered at the foot of Mt.Tfandag.
As mountaineering instructor Sirhan Mammadov told the Turan news agency, a local shepherd reported on discovery of the bronze board not far from the place it was installed. In the near future, the board will be returned to its place. The climbers thank all those having expressed support and willingness to find and return the board to its place.
It should be reminded that the board with names of three dead climbers on Mt. Tfandag (4195 m) became known a few days ago.
Babur Huseynov, Farida Jabrailzadeh and Namin Bunyatov died on December 23, 2018 as a result of an avalanche. Their bodies were found only in spring of the following year, after the snow melted.
Later, friends of the victims installed a bronze plate with the names of the climbers at the place of their death.-02D-
