A sharp rise in COVID-19 infections
Baku/10.12.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 1277 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected (the day before, it was twice less). At the same time, 853 people recovered, and 15 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 12.
In total, 494,067 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, including 474,514 recovered, 6,692 died, treatment of 12,861 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 11,569 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out.
Also, 39,810 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered per day.
During the day, 14,015 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 25,795 with the second.
The total number of vaccinations was 9,037,099.
The first dose was received by 4,903,419 people, and both doses - by 4,133,680. — 21D06-
