Baku/07.02.20/Turan: The Ministry of Ecology of the country announced the approach of a strong storm in the Caspian. In the evening on February 8 to February 10, the speed of the north wind in the sea will be 20-25 meters per second, and in gusts - up to 30-35 meters. In the open sea on February 9, the wind will increase to 38-40 meters per second. The height of the waves will be from 5- to 7-9 meters.
Shipowners, ship captains, coastal control inspections have been warned of the forecast.
Due to weather conditions, the State Maritime Agency of the country will limit the access of ships to the sea, navigation is restricted and ports are closed. –06D-
