About 1000 cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/04.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 996 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 202 people have recovered, 5 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 4.
All 346,878 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 333,694 people recovered, 5,039 have died, treatment of 8,145 active patients continues.
Over the past 24 hours, 10,465 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, 68,021 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Azerbaijan per day. At the same time, the number of those vaccinated with the first dose was 41 934, with the second - 26 087 people.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan was 5,187,428 people, including 3,013,620 received the first dose, 2,173,808 people received both doses.
