Admission to preschool institutions begins
Baku/19.07.23/Turan: Starting on July 25, the admission process for preschool educational institutions of Azerbaijan will commence.
The Ministry of Education has provided information that parents can access the website www.bq.edu.az to create an electronic account for admission to educational institutions for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. Regional education departments will open admissions offices on August 1 at 11:00, while parents in Baku will have the opportunity to join the queue for preschool educational institutions on August 8 at the same time. This admission process will continue until September 1.
Preschool educational institutions encompass various facilities, including nurseries, kindergartens, kindergarten schools, sanatorium-type institutions, and specialized preschool educational institutions.
It is noteworthy that in 2022, a total of 125,318 children were admitted to preschool institutions in both urban and rural areas. Furthermore, there were 1,828 operational preschool educational institutions during that year.
