ADR condemns so-called "elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh
Baku / 02.04.20 / Turan: The Azerbaijan Movement for Democracy and Prosperity (ADR) stated that it does not recognize the constitutional and legal framework for the so-called "presidential and parliamentary elections" held in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 31 this year.
“We view this incident as yet another attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and believe that Armenia’s support for these“ elections ”undermines the ongoing negotiation process and violates it,” the ADR statement said.
The ADR movement calls on international organizations and states not to recognize or condemn "presidential and parliamentary elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh, which are contrary to international norms and the Constitution of Azerbaijan. — 0—
