Alexander Lapshin Suffers from Tachycardia
Baku / 18.04.17 / Turan: The blogger Alexander Lapshin, who is kept in the pre-trial detention center in Baku, has been transferred to a medical point, after doctors diagnosed his tachycardia.
As the blogger’s lawyer Eduard Chernin told Turan, Lapshin complained of heart pains the day before and was taken to a private clinic for examination, and he was diagnosed there.
Recall that in December 2016 a citizen of Israel and Russia Lapshin was arrested in Minsk at the request of Azerbaijan and extradited to Baku. A criminal case has been opened against him on the article on illegal crossing of the border and public appeals against the statehood. In March, his arrest was extended.
The reason for the persecution was Lapshin's visits to Nagorno-Karabakh and propaganda in favor of Armenian separatists calling for recognition of Karabakh's independence. After that, Lapshin illegally entered the territory of Azerbaijan and boasted that he deceived the border service of the country, using the Ukrainian passport. -02B-
