Baku/07.08.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 1,289 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 409 people have recovered, five have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 7.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 350 605 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 334 667 people recovered, 5 056 people have died, treatment of 10 882 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 12,625 tests were carried out to identify new cases of COVID-19 infection.
Also, 59 649 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Azerbaijan per day. At the same time, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 38 211, with the second - 21 438 people.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan today is 5,370,768 people.
Of these, 3,129,512 received the first dose, 2,241,256 received both doses.-06D-
