Baku/14.07.21/Turan: The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has updated the list of those killed and missing in the Patriotic War (the second Karabakh war).
The department's website contains photographs, names, surnames, information on military ranks and date of birth of 2,907 military of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who became martyrs in the Patriotic War and buried before July 14, as well as 7 military who are missing.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
