Baku / 18.05.20 / Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Said Mammadzadeh (Bakuvi), was detained on May 16 by people in civilian clothes.
According to the PFPA, the activist was detained on Saturday afternoon near the Elmlyar Akademiyasy metro station when he took his child to the doctor.
“At first an unknown man stepped out of a white car approached him. He asked the activist: "You did not recognize me?" After the activist gave a negative response, 4 plainclothes officers seized him right in front of the child and put him in a car and took him to an unknown destination, ”the Popular Front Party said.
