Arrest of Tofig Yagublu to be appealed
Baku/26.12.22/Turan: An appeal will be filed against the administrative arrest of Tofig Yagublu, a member of the National Council of Democratic Forces and the Musavat Party, Turan was told by lawyer Nemat Karimli. Today he visited Yagublu at the Bianagadi Detention Center for Administratively Arrested. Yagublu did not complain about the conditions of detention. “The books delivered to him were also let through without problems,” the lawyer said.
Tofig Yagublu was detained on December 23 at a protest rally in the center of Baku demanding the release of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev. On the same day, the Sabail court arrested him for 30 days on charges of petty hooliganism and disobedience to the police. ---21B06---
