Attending classes is mandatory
Baku/22.09.21/Turan: Since the beginning of the new academic year (September 22), voluntary attendance of classes in educational institutions due to the coronavirus pandemic has been canceled. An appropriate document was signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
From now on, parents may keep their children out of school in two cases: if the school is located in an area with a high level of infection; or if a student has COVID-19 patients at home or infected with another respiratory viral infection.
In the second case, the child's non-admission to classes will be mandatory and parents should inform the school administration about this.
Starting from September 29, classes will resume in universities, specialized secondary and vocational educational institutions. —06D-
